Comparison to size 8/9 font.
Mmmmm...... tiring day... Can't wait for tomorrow to be over....... I am in need of rest... The group is going to bungee jump on Sunday.. and a hockey game on Saturday... I'll be left alone in the dorm.. but that's quite okay because I can then go to the river and read =].
I am actually very excited at the thought of doing that!
Interesting thing happened tonight before dinner...
An old-ish lady (maybe 50s) came up to us in Wangsimni and asked for money.. At first I thought it was just a beggar.. but she didn't look poor or homeless looking... At the restaurant though.. she came inside and approached us again.. This time, her money box was more visible - it had a yellow cross on it...
At first I was quite confused.. maybe still am now... But... the store manager escorted her out (nicely) but she was refusing quite violently [verbally]... the shop assistants shouted "annyeonghi-gaseyo" which is a farewell saying for those leaving an area... and the woman screamed back at them saying 'go to hell' in Korean... several times.
I'm not sure... I don't think it was right for her to shout that... I certainly don't think we should curse anyone like that as if we had the power or influence to determine where people would end up in after death... Is it a questionable faith? Another one of the extreme cults here in Korea? Maybe...
I was given a 'you will go to hell' pamphlet on the train on Sunday quite aggressively.. I was sitting down when another elderly woman [50s] walked past and basically threw it at me...
Mmm....

Thankful: Another productive day.
Prayerful: Exam day tomorrow/today!.. Whewwww.
Dangers: Haven't had quiet time properly in the past 2 days.... Busy/stress/procrastination...
