Global Ethics excursion today... Guess where we went...

No, not the ethical museum... or the slaughterhouse... or the centre for atheists...

we went to a vegetarian restaurant!!

The moment I walked in, I could smell a different air and atmosphere to this restaurant.. Traditional Korean instruments were playing in the background and the whole room was filled with this sweet appetising aroma.

Contrary to my initial negative perception of vegetarianism being boring and tasteless, I retract those words completely and am now a firm believer that you don't necessarily have to eat succulent cuts of meat to get that satisfying flavor explosion on your tastebuds..

The food here was nothing short of amazing.. The ingredients were fresh, most likely organic, prepared well and a homemade recipe.

Everything from the soybean paste used in the soup to the beans in the mixed rice bowl had that fresh, juicy and healthy feel to it. It was almost like I could feel the healthiness melt away on my tongue.

The back streets of Hyehwa. It was tucked away around here.. I wouldn't have been able to discover it otherwise.

Outside the restaurant.

We had a private room with a heated floor and everything. It was great.

Some of the people in my class. Yup, that's the professor.

The side dishes... I only took this half though because I thought that the side dishes were all the same... Nope, there were probably another 7 plates of side dishes I didn't capture on camera.. But as I said before... The greens were a bright green.. The yellows were a bright yellow... The smell was amazing and yeah.. Nuff said. THE FISH HAD EGGS INSIDE!

The mixed rice. Yum.. The stone pot was very hot and it made the rice quite crunchy but still soft in the inside. We then poured hot tea into the stone pot and it made a porridge like dish with the leftover rice that was stuck on the inside pot.

Mixing the rice with the side dishes. Yummm.

I would definitely go back to this place... I forgot already what it was called though... crap... At least I know how to get there =D.

The overall meal cost $11 (12,000 won) and it was so worth it.

When we got back after the excursion... I went into my International Business class for a quick exam-content revelation session.. Fun times....

And then bam... study for the so called Operations Management quiz (that never happened)....

Korean pringes..

I swear you can fit two towers of chips... It was tiny... LOL.

Yeah..... a long day.. I'm exhausted... and not looking forward to assignments and studying....
A lot to do... In a ceebs mood (because no matter how good a mark I get, I will only get a pass/fail mark from UNSW).

Oh yeah.. I'm running on $200~ until December... I could make it okay... No going out! LOL.

Thankful: Another week done.. hehehe.. Next week is the last week of formal classes (ie 2nd last week of uni... wow).. Unlike UNSW.. There is no 'stuvac'.. It's just straight to the final exams and then done.

Prayerful: Wise spending from now on............ Only buy things that I need......... =X

Dangers: Still the same - exam period busyness.
